When designing a home of this scale, the challenge isn't just filling the space—it's about creating a cohesive narrative that flows effortlessly from room to room while ensuring every square foot serves a purpose.
A great home begins with intelligent space planning. For this 2,700 sqft layout, we focused heavily on zoning to balance lively social spaces with quiet, private sanctuaries:
The Social Hub: An open-concept formal living and dining layout designed to maximize natural light and feel incredibly expansive.
The Private Sanctuaries: Thoughtfully positioned bedrooms, including a luxurious master suite complete with a walk-in wardrobe, designed as a restful escape from the daily hustle.
The Functional Core: A high-efficiency modular kitchen with clean lines, handleless cabinetry, and seamless utility integration.
The client envisioned a home that felt both upscale and deeply welcoming. To achieve this, we embraced a Contemporary Luxury design language:
Palette: A sophisticated base of warm neutrals (soft ivory, muted taupes, and charcoal accents) punctuated by rich, natural textures.
Materiality: Seamless large-format porcelain slabs, rich fluted wood paneling, and subtle accents of brushed metallic hardware to add a touch of understated glamour.
Lighting is the unsung hero of interior architecture. For this project, we designed a custom architectural lighting scheme utilizing low-glare magnetic track lights for general ambiance, warm under-cabinet LED profiles for task clarity, and accent sconces to highlight texture and artwork.
